Dove Tower is an ongoing fanwork hosted on Archive of Our Own, taking place in an alternative — but very similar — universe to the canon of Hazbin Hotel. It centers around Elana, a veteran of the army who'd been pushed to the fringes over the years, and the unexpected young soldier who's at her wit's end, Kestrel. Despite not seeing eye to eye, they're in the unenviable position of needing to work together to mitigate the fallout of a rapid and visible decline of their Lieutenant; which is easier said than done now that the Exterminations had been called off and the army's gone topsy-turvy.
Will Elana's emotional walls shield her from the coming storm? Or will Kestrel's unwitting kindness bring the sunlight back to their cold, forgotten corner of heaven?
